Dear friends of the Chicago Lithuanian Center, we are thankful to all of you because it is through your support that we are still active today. The Center opened its doors in 1957 because the Lithuanian community was in need of a gathering place for the rapidly growing community. The newly opened Center quickly became the hub of activity for the Lithuanian community. A large number of organizations active today have their roots at the Center. With your continued support we will remain the oldest active and only Lithuanian cultural center in Chicago.
